Episode 167 – Great Job, Mr. President

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 167 – May 8, 2011

On episode 167 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined by Sarah Cosgrove (@s_cosgrove on Twitter) from the “Mashrabiyya Blog”, Sheila (@Slfriend79 on Twitter) and Mike (@whisper1111 on Twitter).

On today’s show, we talk start out with some listener feedback and then we move on to the “All A Tweetie” Segment. Seth Meyer’s comedy routine at the White House Correspondents Dinner provided the perfect lay out for this weeks show as it almost predicted the events of the week and we let him guide us on the topics. We begin with President Obama announcing the assassination of Bin Laden and the events of the week surrounding that news.  And then we move on to the GOP Debate in South Carolina and how the candidates fielded with Frank Luntz’s panel forums.  And how could we not discuss Seth Meyer’s roasting of Donald Trump and his reponse and dissapearance in the media this week. And, finally we close out the show with the “Foxisms of the Week” segment.

On episode 143 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined by Dave (@D_v_E on Twitter) from the Refudiate This, Sara blog and the one and only Dance Music Star, Pepper MaShay (@jackhammer3853 and @peppermashay53 on Twitter).

Today’s show is a political round table discussion and we start out with the Auntie Vera Tale of Terror movie report, then we move on to our Twitter recommendations in the All A Tweetie segment.  And then me talk about the Rally to Restore Sanity and Keep Fear Alive event this weekend in Washington, DC.  It was a great event, even though I couldn’t actually get there through the crowds, but we have clips to share and discuss.  And we also discuss the story where the KETK-NBC news anchors ask: “Will the acceptance of homosexuality in this society be the downfall of America?” and we give our viewpoints on the commentary.

November 2nd is Election Day so be sure and VOTE as if your life depends on it.

Episode 138 – I Can’t Believe This Is Happening

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 137 – August 29, 2010

Episode 138 of The Tim Corrimal Show is a video in which I am joined by Reiko Eoh (HellOPolitics2U on Twitter) from the HellOPolitics Blog and we went down to the National Mall to survey the crowd at the “Restoring Honor” event and see first hand the Glenn Beck desecration and spin fest of the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King on the 40th Anniversary of his “I Have A Dream” speech.  GottaLaff from The Political Carnival blog pretty much summed up the event by calling it Whitestock 2010 and we kept waiting for Abraham Lincoln to get up off the chair, come down the steps and kick Glenn in the nuts; but sadly it didn’t happen.

So we left the spinfest and went to the “Reclaim The Dream” event at Dunbar High School for the real celebration of memory of Dr. King’s Speech and message and wrapped up the video with coverage from that event.

Call the listener line at 202-657-4277, leave a message and I’ll play it on the show.  You can also follow me on Twitter (TimCorrimal on Twitter) and come play with us on the web.

I Got a Voice Mail from Kathy Griffin

This evening I received a voice mail from Kathy Griffin asking me to attend the repeal of the US Military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Policy at Freedom Plaza on Thursday, March 18th at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC.  Freedom Plaza is at 14th and Pennsylvania Ave. NW.  Details are at http://www.hrc.org.

OK….I know it was a robocall, but how many of you bitches have ever received a voice mail from Kathy Griffin.  I thought it was hilarious so I’m posting the audio for everyone to enjoy.

And I will be there for the protest.  Hope you will be there too.
