On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of Adam Kinzinger predicting that Trump will be prosecuted, Will Hurd explaining why Rep. McCarthy has himself to blame for the fraught Speakership bid, and Manu Raju reporting on the profanities being hurled at the closed-door House GOP meeting. Next we discuss clips of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries saying Democrats will not save the Republicans from their dysfunction by helping choose a Speaker, CNN’s Michael Lawler reporting on Rep. George Santos’ fellow GOP congressmen calling him a distraction to the GOP agenda, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody resume for running for Congress in 2024 similar to the lies Rep. George Santos gave to his voters. Then we discuss clips of Rep. Boebert raging about being sworn at in closed-door meetings, Joy Reid mocking the possibility of a Rep. Scalise Speakership citing past comments that he is David Duke without the baggage, Chris Jansing saying the juxtaposition of McCarthy’s Speaker mess and President Biden/McConnell trip couldn’t be a better for Democrats, and Denver Riggleman reacting after Trump posted a picture of himself as Speaker. And we close out the show with clips of Chris Wallace roasting the Republican Speaker chaos with Stephen Colbert and Secretary Pete Buttigieg pushing back on Bret Baier on FOX News over a question about his spouse traveling with him on a Government plane while he was leading a Presidential Delegation.

Episode 669 – Buried with the Nuclear Codes

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 669 – October 2, 2022

Show Art - Parody book cover -

On episode 669 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table with Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter) from The Poorly Written Political Blog, Adam Hebert (Adam Hebert on Facebook) from RadioForHumans.com, and Clintster (@clintster on Twitter) and the ClintCast Podcast.

On the show this week we start out with introductions and the All A Tweetie segment, then we discuss clips of two former GOP candidates speculating that the ‘Deep State’ used weather manipulation technology to push up Hurricane Ian’s strength and punish Florida Gov. DeSantis, Sen. John Barrasso being forced to admit that a President can’t declassify documents by thinking about it, Rep Elise Stefanik offering a word salad of non-sense about the Republican’s agenda if they take control of the House, and Rep. Nancy Mace admitting that the House Republican’s main agenda if they get control is to impeach President Biden. Next we discuss clips of Chris Christie saying that Trump running his mouth about the FBI investigation is pushing him towards a self-inflicted indictment, Keisha Lance Bottoms saying that the MAGA Republican agenda is to essentially destroy the United States, and Roger Stone laying out the plan to invalidate the 2020 election results in July 2020, 4 months before the election. Then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody report about what Trump did while in office in a new book titled ‘Buried with the Nuclear Codes – The Secrets Ivana Took to the Grave’ and then we discuss clips of Neal Katyal and Glenn Kirshner calling Maggie Haberman’s latest Trump bombshell as evidentiary gold that could be subpoenaed, the Morning Joe crew praising Sen. Mitch McConnell for supporting the Electoral Reform Act to prevent another January 6th, and Sen. Ron Johnson denying his involvement in the fake 2020 electors plot. Next we discuss clips of President Biden telling reporters that Hurricane Ian relief is totally irrelevant to his relationship with Gov. DeSantis, Joy Reid and former Rep. David Jolly discussing how Gov. DeSantis has to ask Biden for aid while Florida suffers from damage caused by Hurricane Ian, and Nicolle Wallace and former Rep. Denver Riggleman discussing the text messages that were sent by members of Congress containing election conspiracy theory videos. And finally we close out the show discussing an ad for a conservatives only dating app from Kayleigh McEnany’s sister.
