On the show this week we start out with introductions and our Heros of the Week segment, then we discuss clips of George Stephanopoulos giving a blistering commentary about the bedrock tenets of our democracy being tested, Sen. Lindsey Graham delivering a wild defense of Trump’s alleged catch-and-kill scheme, and Andrew Weissmann saying that the US is one vote away on the Supreme Court from the end of democracy. Next we discuss clips of former Speaker Pelosi calling out Katy Tur for being an apologist for Trump, a CNN panel discussing how South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s puppy murder story is a suck-up to Trump, Lisa Ruben and Suzanne Craig reporting on Trump’s lawyers different devices to try and keep Trump awake during his trial, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody organization for former President’s forced to sit in a lonely courtroom called ‘Friends for the Friendless’. Then we discuss clips of Stormy Daniel’s friend Alana Evans telling Abby Phillip that Stormy will look Trump dead in the face and call him out in Court, Sarah Matthews telling Jen Psaki that she will put policy aside and vote for Joe Biden because Trump will not uphold the Constitution, and Whoopi Goldberg going off on Trump for saying there’s an ‘anti-white feeling’ in the US. Next we discuss clips of Manu Raju pressing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on her move to oust Speaker Johnson, Kaitlin Collins clashing with Sen. J.D. Vance on Trump’s immunity claim, and Jake Tapper reporting on Michael Cohen’s tweet referring to Trump as ‘VonShitzInPants’ being read aloud in Court during the Gag Order hearing. Then we discuss clips of Daniel Dale demolishing Trump’s claim that he’s not allowed to testify because of the gag order, Lawrence O’Donnell saying that Trump stared at him in Court with an intimidating look, and we close out the show with a clip of Yasmin Vossoughian reporting about Hope Hicks breaking down crying on the stand during her testimony.
