George Santos’ fellow GOP congressmen calling him a distraction to the GOP agenda, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody resume for running for Congress in 2024 similar to the lies Rep. George Santos gave to his voters. Then we discuss clips of Rep. Boebert raging about being sworn at in closed-door meetings, Joy Reid mocking the possibility of a Rep. Scalise Speakership citing past comments that he is David Duke without the baggage, Chris Jansing saying the juxtaposition of McCarthy’s Speaker mess and President Biden/McConnell trip couldn’t be a better for Democrats, and Denver Riggleman reacting after Trump posted a picture of himself as Speaker. And we close out the show with clips of Chris Wallace roasting the Republican Speaker chaos with Stephen Colbert and Secretary Pete Buttigieg pushing back on Bret Baier on FOX News over a question about his spouse traveling with him on a Government plane while he was leading a Presidential Delegation.
