On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of Bill Barr ramping up his showdown with Trump, Chris Christie dragging Trump as a petulant child, and Elie Mystal and Medhi Hasan laughing that if Trump was charged in The Hague, it would be like the legal version of an EGOT. Next we discuss clips of Dr. Peter Hotez pushing back on Joe Rogan and Elon Musk’s challenge him to debate RFK Jr. over vaccine conspiracy theories, Jennifer Ruben trashing DeSantis as unlikeable, boring, and a thuggish bully, Ari Melber issuing a direct rebuke amid the SCOTUS ethics scandals, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody version of a new dating app for the Supreme Court Justices called ‘eHarmony: A Justice for Me’. Then we discuss clips of the Morning Joe crew torching Trump’s FOX News interview on the Documents case, Jennifer Rodgers rejecting the GOP talking point that Hunter Biden got a sweetheart deal, and Chris Hayes reacting to GOP voters saying that a Federal conviction would make them support Trump even more. Next we discuss clips of Rep. Dan Goldman accusing the GOP of projection and the party of George Santos over their vote to censure Rep. Adam Schiff, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse saying it’s going to be a bad Christmas for Trump’s lawyers with the Justice Department’s latest filing in the Documents case, and CNN discussing what’s on the recordings that were included in the court filing. Then we discuss clips of the Morning Joe crew ripping Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s shameless effort to expunge the Trump impeachments, and we close out the show discussing a clip of Mana Raju trying to keep a straight face while covering Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene calling Rep. Lauren Boebert a ‘little b*tch’.
