Then we discuss the 60 Minutes CECOT segment that was pulled from US CBS stations but aired in Canada and went viral online, the Supreme Court’s order rejecting Trump’s National Guard deployment in Illinois, and Trump withdrawing the National Guard from all cities except Washington, DC after the ruling. Next we discuss the Trump hosted Kennedy Center Awards earning the lowest ratings in history, several artists cancelling performances including a six week run of ‘Hamilton’ after Trump put his name on the building, and Trump’s useless meeting with Ukraine President Zelenskyy. Then we discuss Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saying she was naive for believing Trump was a man of the people as well as that he told her his friends would get hurt if the Epstein files are released, China staging military drills around Taiwan to warn external forces after US and Japan tensions, and Trump’s Christmas Day attacks on Nigeria. Next we discuss Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu and the Pentagon announcing an 8.6 billion dollar Boeing contract for F-15 jets for Israel right afterwards, Trump telling his fans to donate to him or else Democrats will steal their money, and Trump’s dementia getting noticeably worse with unhinged posts over the Holidays. Then we discuss the Federal Reserve renewing all nine banking board members for 5-year terms before Powell’s term ends in March, Elon Musk may face charges in France for election interference, and Musk’s melt down over Zohran Mamdani’s choice to lead the Fire Department in NYC. Next we discuss a Federal Judge ordering the Trump administration to seeking funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Board, the USPS change in how mail is postmarked and it’s possible impact on mail-in ballots, and the Federal Judge’s unsealed court order suggesting Trump officials pushed to prosecute Kilmar Abrego Garcia after he was wrongfully deported. Then we discuss the U.S. removal of cemetery panels honoring Black World War II soldiers spurring anger in the Netherlands, how top officials at the Heritage Foundation are fleeing to Mike Pence’s nonprofit as the think tank fractures, HHS freezing all childcare payments to Minnesota after false fraud allegations video by Nick Shirley went viral on social media, and House Republicans releasing the transcript and video of Jack Smith’s closed-door testimony on New Year’s eve to try and bury it in the news cycle. Lastly we discuss Democrat Renee Hardman winning the Iowa Senate special election holding off a GOP supermajority, Zohran Mamdani being sworn in as NYC Major, Trump vetoing a bipartisan Colorado clean water bill that unanimously passed the House and Senate as retribution for Lauren Boebert signing the discharge petition to force the vote to release the Epstein files, and Trump’s 150 Truth Social posts in one night as his sundowning continues to get worse.

Then we discuss the news that the Reiner’s son made guests uneasy at a party the day before his parents were found dead, Sean Duffy and RFK, Jr. announcement that they want to put gyms in airports, and the DOJ claim that they arrested 4 people accusing them of planning to place bombs around Los Angeles on New Years Eve claiming they are Antifa. Next we discuss Trump designating Fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction as well as reclassifying marijuana from a Schedule 1 to a Schedule 3 drug, and the 10 Billion dollar defamation lawsuit that Trump filed against the BBC. Then we discuss the U.S. military blowing up more alleged drug boats, that the National Guard troops were withdrawn from Los Angeles before a court deadline, and California Governor Gavin Newsom’s appointment of a former CDC official, Dr. Susan Monarez, to lead California’s public health network. Next we discuss Trump’s useless pardon of Tina Peters who was convicted of Colorado state election charges and the Colorado Attorney General’s refusal to release her from prison, a Jet Blue flight averting a mid-air collision with a U.S. Air Force jet that didn’t have it’s transponder on, that Trump officials celebrated by eating cake after slashing aid to the people who died of Cholera, and that the US unemployment rate rose to 4.6%. Then we discuss that the US House left town after failing to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies, Trump’s announced blockade of oil tankers to Venezuela, and the Vanity Fair article with Susie Wiles and the White House meltdown over it and the photos. Next we discuss JD Vance going to U-Line in Pennsylvania to lie about the economy, Trump’s economic approval hitting new record lows, and Warner Bros. rejection of Paramount’s hostile bid. Then we discuss the 4 centrists Republicans revolt signing a discharge petition to force a vote on the ACA subsidies, a Federal Judge allowing Trump’s National Guard deployment in DC to continue, and Jack Smith’s testimony before the House committee. Next we discuss the announcement that the Oscars are moving to YouTube from ABC in 2029, Dan Bongino’s announcement that he is leaving the FBI, and Trump’s demands that Venezuela return land and oil rights to the US, and his unhinged televised national address where he yelled lies about how great his economy is. Then we discuss Trump’s partisan plaques on the “Presidential Walk of Fame” at the White House, RFK, Jr.’s cancellations of millions of dollars in grants to the American Academy of Pediatrics after they criticized his changes to vaccine recommendations for children, and the stock trading bill that includes Trump that the Democrats rolled out. Next we discuss Guislaine Maxwell asking a court to set aside her conviction, a Travel trade group’s warning about Trump’s proposed new social media rules for tourists, and the Coast Guard general who’s promotion was frozen by Senators over the new swastika and noose policy. Lastly we discuss the trailer for the new “Melania” documentary, Trump’s appointment of a Yale doctor who pushed unproven COVID treatments to lead U.S. cancer research efforts, and TikTok owner ByteDance signing a binding deal to create a new US joint venture.

Then we discuss JFK’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, running for Congress in New York, that 8 Democratic U.S. Senators on Monday asked the GAO to promptly investigate whether Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte misused his authority by making criminal referrals against perceived opponents of President Donald Trump, and that a Maryland Grand Jury is investigating Bill Pulty and Ed Martin over their Mortgage fraud investigations into Trump’s enemies. Next we discuss the White House ditching the Biden-era plan to compensate travelers for airline delays, Trump calling a reporter ‘piggy’ on Air Force One, and that a 3 Judge panel threw out Texas’ 2025 gerrymandered maps, but the Supreme Court stayed the order for Texas to use the 2021 maps in the mid-terms. Then we discussed Trump’s meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince in the Oval Office and saying he knew nothing about the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, the House and Senate passing the bill to force DOJ to release the Epstein files almost unanimously, and the possibly leaked audio call of Trump screaming on the phone that he will take everyone down with him if the Epstein files are released. Next we discuss the House’s failed attempt to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett, Trump and Vance not being invited to Dick Cheney’s funeral, and Bondi bot repeating that DOJ will follow the law to reporter’s questions about the release of the Epstein files. Then we discuss the state of the economy and the jobs reports showing the loss of 1 million jobs, the FBI stonewalling the House investigation into the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, PA, and the ‘Remove the Regime’ protest in DC on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Next we discuss Trump’s Kremlin talking points plan for the Ukraine/Russia plan to end the war, the Department of Education removing the ‘professional’ designation for nurses, teachers, and other female dominated professions, and the House unanimously voting to repeal the provision allowing 8 Senators to due DOJ for having their call logs reviewed in the January 6th investigation. Lastly we discuss Trump’s threat to Democratic lawmakers for a video reminding military and intelligence officials that they do not have to follow unlawful orders, Trump’s meeting with Zohran Mamdani, and a woman who gives us a master class in how to handle ICE.

On the show this week we discuss the blue tsunami election results, Trump’s 60 minutes interview with Nora O’Donnell and that he said he didn’t know who Changpeng Zhao was after he had just pardoned him, and that a DC jury acquitted the guy who threw his Subway sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol agent. Next we discuss that a Justice Department official said regarding Trump’s classified documents case that if it was anybody else they would have arrested him tomorrow, the situation with the administration trying to keep November SNAP benefits from being paid out, and that John Oliver mocked Trump for positing photos of a remodeled bathroom in the Lincoln bedroom of the White House. Then we discussed Trump’s sun-downing on camera and the increasing appearance of his health failing, Nancy Pelosi’s announcement that she will not seek re-election, and how the shift in Hispanic voting to Democratic candidates in 2025 could destroy Republican’s gerrymander attempt in Texas. Next we discuss the Republican civil war happening within the party over Tucker Carlson’s interview with Nick Fuentes, how FOX News feel for AI deep fakes in this election cycle, and Zohran Mandami’s sweeping win for NYC Mayor and that he announced an all female transition team. Then we discuss how companies involved in the White House ballroom are taking their websites down, that a construction company involved in the demolition of the East Wing is filing a $75 Million dollar lawsuit against Trump because they haven’t been paid, and how FAA is cancelling flights in the lead up to the Thanksgiving holiday. Lastly we discuss how the Supreme Court arguments seen divided and uncertain on the legality of Trump’s tariffs and our thoughts on if we’ll see an end to the Government shutdown anytime soon.
