Episode 270 – Crisis Averted

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 270 – October 20, 2013

Episode 270 Show Art

On episode 270 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter), Sarah (@S_Cosgrove on Twitter) and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.

On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then after Joe gives us a clown car update, we discuss Rep. Chris Van Hollen’s statements on the US House Floor about the GOP rigged rule change that prevented any member from bringing the US Senate bill to reopen the Government to the floor for a vote except the Majority Leader as well as Rep. Louise Slaughter’s discussion with Chairman, Pete Sessions on the House Rules Committee about the rule change.  And then we discuss Sen. John McCain’s statements on Face the Nation about the debt ceiling and shutdown situation and the Veterans March that Sen. Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin and the head of Freedom Watch highjacked and turned into a racist spectacle.  And after another fabulous commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the Morning Joe clip where Joe falsely claims that he warned the GOP about not believing the polls before the 2012 Presidential election featuring another hilarious parody from Rocky Mountain Mike (@RockyMntnMike on Twitter) and then Jim Hightower fills us in on Sen. Ted Cruz’s health insurance coverage while he tried to deny coverage to millions of Americans. Then we close out the show discussing the right wing reaction to getting nothing in the shutdown and debt ceiling resolution featuring Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin as well as Sen. Tom Coburn discussing impeachment at a town hall meeting.
