Next we discuss the Green Day performer calling out ICE ahead of the Super Bowl, some election officials saying they no longer trust their federal partners, and DOJ’s move to ask the Supreme Court to void Steve Bannon’s contempt of Congress conviction. Then we discuss Trump’s threats to bar a new US-Canada bridge from opening, the US DOJ lawyer hit with a bar complaint over the search of a Washington Post reporter’s home, and the revelations we learned this week from the latest batch of Epstein files. Next we discuss the world wide reactions to the individuals who had communications with Jeffrey Epstein and the investigations being opened in other counties, Pam Bondi’s outrageous behavior at the House Judiciary Committee, and the ICE Director being told at a different hearing that if he want’s to stop being called a fascist, then stop being fascist. Lastly we discuss the DHS document that uncovered that only 14% of people being detained by ICE have a criminal history and that China has reportedly told banks to scale back holdings of US government debt.

Next we discuss Bootsy Sanders’ review of the ‘Melania’ movie, Amazon pulling the film from an Oregon theater because of their clever marquees, and a Federal Judge ruling that DHS has to allow lawmakers to make unannounced visits to ICE detention facilities. Then we discuss the FBI raid of the Fulton County election facility, Trump saying that Republicans should ‘nationalize’ elections, and the DHS announcement that Federal officials in Minneapolis will start wearing body cameras. Next we discuss the classified whistleblower complaint about Tulsi Gabbard, British politician Peter Mandelson facing pressure to resign from the House of Lords after the latest Epstein files release, and Trump’s plan to close the Kennedy Center for 2 years for renovations. Then we discuss the previously undisclosed UAE stake in Trump’s crypto company sparking new controversy, DHS appearing likely to shut down over the fight in Congress about ICE funding, and a Judge appeared likely to rule in Sen. Mark Kelly’s favor in the lawsuit over the illegal orders video. Next we discuss Trump saying the U.S. has returned the $500 million dollars from the oil sale to Venezuela, Tulsi Gabbard saying that Trump asked her to be at the FBI election center raid in Georgia, and that U.S. forces shot down an Iranian drone near an aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea. Then we discuss Republicans freaking out about Hispanic voters after the Texas election upset, a Judge restricting Federal agents from using tear gas and projectile munitions at Portland immigration protests, and Colombian President Petro’s upcoming visit to the White House. Next we discuss Trump saying he’ll release the funding for the New Jersey/New York tunnel if they put his name on Dulles airport and NYC’s Penn station, Sen. Mitch McConnell being hospitalized with flu-like symptoms, and Illinois joining the World Health Organization. Then we discuss Democratic Senators delaying nomination proceeding for Warsh as Fed Chair after his name appeared in the Epstein files, polling showing 62% of Americans think ICE efforts go too far, and American’s last nuclear arms treaty with Russia expiring last week. Next we discuss the Democratic shadow hearing after the fatal shootings and other assaults in Minneapolis, House Democrats releasing a report blaming the Trump administration for the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti and attempted coverups, and a Federal Judge finding that anti-Hatian bias likely motivated Kristi Noem’s TPS termination. Then we discuss a Judge’s order that the Trump administration mitigate any further damage to the slavery exhibition panels in Philadelphia, the State Department being sued over Trump’s immigration visa ban affecting 75 countries, and the Supreme Court ruling that California can use it’s Prop 50 congressional maps. Next we discuss Trump saying his administration could use a softer touch on immigration, a Judge ordering Elon Musk to sit for a deposition over DOGE and USAID shutdown, and that Tulsi Gabbard investigated voting machines in Puerto Rico. Lastly we discuss 30 Republican’s announcement that they will not run for re-election, the EEOC investigation of Nike for alleged discrimination against white employees, the Washington Post laying off 1/3 of it’s staff, and the chants of ‘f*ck ice’ from wrestling fans before the main event.

Next we discuss Melania’s movie bombing in the box office, a Federal Judge not issuing an injunction to halt Operation Metro Surge, and Minnesota officials refusal to turn over their voter rolls to DOJ. Then we discuss the Senate deal to avoid another Government shutdown, an Appeals Court’s refusal to reconsider Alina Habba’s disqualification as the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, and Republican Chris Madel dropping out of the Minnesota Governor race citing the GOP’s retribution on the state. Next we discuss Venezuela’s acting President saying she’s had enough of orders from Washington, the Chief Minnesota Judge ordering the acting head of ICE to appear in a contempt hearing and then canceling the hearing after ICE complied with his orders, and Trump’s rambling speech on energy and the economy. Then we discuss the 2 GOP Senators calling on Kristi Noem to resign, the man who lunged at Rep. Ilhan Omar while trying to spray her with what appears to have been an unknown substance, and the outrage in Italy over the announcement that ICE agents will be sent to the Milan Winter Olympics. Next we discuss the first wrongful death lawsuit filed against the Trump administration over boat strikes, DHS releasing the 5 year old boy and his father after being ordered by a Judge to release them, Alex Vindman entering the the Florida Senate race, and how the Ellison takeover of America’s TikTok is censoring anti-Trump speech. Then we discuss Meta blocking posts sharing a database of ICE agents, California advancing a bill allowing lawsuits against federal agents, and Judge blocking the Democrats redistricting resolution in Virginia and the state appealing the order. Next we discuss the DOJ opening a Civil Rights investigation into the murder of Alex Pretti, the FBI raid on the Fulton County election office with Tulsi Gabbard being with them, and the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady despite pressures from Trump to lower it. Then we discuss ICE officers in Minnesota being directed not to interact with ‘agitators’, the cyber defense chief at DHS accidentally uploading secret government info into ChatGPT, and SCOTUS announcing that it will consider taking up Trump’s appeal of the E. Jean Carroll verdict on Feb 20th. Next we discuss the GOP attempt to slander Alex Pretti by releasing a video of him kicking out the tail light of a DHS vehicle 11 days before he was murdered, the Trump Administration moving forward with selling the Old Post Office building that was converted into Trump’s hotel in Washington, and DHS walking back it’s announcement that ICE agents would be at the Super Bowl after public outrage. Then we discuss Nikki Minaj appearing on stage and accepting a fake ‘Gold Card’ from Trump, a man allegedly posing as an FBI agent in an attempt to spring Luigi Mangione from prison, and the Judge’s ruling that Luigi Mangione will not face the death penalty by striking down those charges. Next we discuss Trump’s attempt to sue the IRS for 10 billion dollars, Mike Johnson bracing for a conservative revolt over the ICE funding deal, and an Appeals court ruling that Noem’s decision to end protections for Venezuelans in the U.S. was illegal. Lastly we discuss Trump’s claim that he’s closing his eyes from boredom in meetings instead of sleeping, Trump’s announcement that he is nominating Kevin Warsh to be the chair of the Federal Reserve and then DOJ releasing a batch of Epstein files that he is in, the Atlanta FBI chief being ousted by DOJ after balking at the 2020 election probe, and the Federal Judge’s order blocking key portions of Trump’s executive order aimed at tightening citizenship verification for voter registrations and absentee ballot applications.

Then we discuss ICE agents violation of the 4th amendment by breaking down doors and entering homes without a Judicial warrant, the Trump administration conceding that the DOGE team may have misused Social Security data, theaters struggling to sell 10 tickets per showing to the new Melania movie, and the U.S. Supreme Court appearing skeptical of Trump’s attempt to fire Lisa Cook from the Fed board. Next we discuss Navy admiral Nancy Lacore who was removed by Hegseth as the chief of the Navy Reserve announcing that she is running for Congress, New York Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Pearlman calling a GOP-held House district unconstitutional and ordering a new map, and Trump’s racist and dementia addled Davos speech then his TACO over his Greenland tariffs. Then we discuss the fired DHS employee suing the agency after he criticized Kristi Noem while on a date with an undercover reporter, Ted Cruz once again being caught cowardly leaving Texas ahead of the snow storm, and a Judge’s ruling that the FBI can not examine devices it took from a Washington Post reporter’s home. Next we discuss an Appeals court temporarily lifting restrictions on ICE’s attacks on protesters in Minnesota, a Judge ruling that lawmakers can sue over the Epstein files release excluding the Maxwell case, and Jack Smith’s testimony saying that Trump willfully broke laws in his bid to overturn the 2020 election. Then we discuss the White House digitally altering the image of a woman arrested after an ICE protest in a church, Department of Interior staff removing a memorial honoring people enslaved by George Washington in Philadelphia and the city’s lawsuit to restore it, and Sen. Amy Klobuchar filing to run for the Governor of Minnesota. Lastly we discuss Trump pulling the U.S. from the World Health Organization, the FBI agent in Minnesota who resigned after being ordered to investigate Renee Good, and a Federal Judge ruling that the administration unlawfully suspended the EV charger infrastructure program that was funded by the Infrastructure Act.
