On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of Liz Cheney blaming Rep. Kevin McCarthy for the House GOP dysfunction, 60 Minutes Australia reporting on leaked audio of Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt revealing that Trump shared classified information with him, and Mika Brzezinski laughing about Sen. Mitt Romney trash-talking Republican leaders in the new book about him. Next we discuss a clip of Trump’s bizarre speech where he complained that the media never called him ‘a great Speaker’ and his discovery about the word ‘Us’ at a rally, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody report about the trick or treaters coming to his door this Halloween. Then we discuss clips of Jenna Ellis tearfully pleading guilty to a felony in the Georgia election case, Norm Eisen saying the Jenna Ellis’s guilty plea pulls the rug out from under Trump, Manu Raju laying out Rep. Tom Emmer’s tough road to be Speaker, and Joy Reid cracking up about Rep. McCarthy’s plan to be re-instated as Speaker with Rep. Jim Jordan as his assistant Speaker. Next we discuss clips of House Republicans telling a reporter to shut up along with boos and heckles after being asked about Rep. Mike Johnson’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, Katelyn Polantz reporting on rumors that 6 more Georgia co-defendants are in talks with Prosecutors over a plea deal, and we close out the show with a clip of Stephen Colbert talking about election denier Mike Johnson being elected Speaker of the House.
