On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of Elise Stefanik on Meet the Press trying to re-write what happened on January 6th, Liz Cheney on Face the Nation saying Ron DeSantis is unfit for office over his January 6th comments, and the Morning Joe crew calling out pro-Trump Republicans for quoting and channeling Hitler. Next we discuss clips of Jen Psaki tearing into Trump for embracing political violence, President Biden calling Trump a ‘loser’ in a speech in South Carolina, Trump attorney John Sauer arguing to the DC US Appeals Court that a President could assassinate his rivals and not be held criminally liable, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody report on Trump’s attorney arguing ‘The Jesus Defense’. Then we discuss clips of Elliot Williams eviscerating John Sauer’s ludicrous immunity argument, Jimmy Kimmel ripping Aaron Rogers for suggesting that he’d be in the Epstein client list, and clips of Rep. Jared Moskowitz and Rep. Eric Swalwell calling out the Republicans for their own failures to comply with Congressional subpoenas. Next we discuss clips of Chris Christie imploring GOP voters not to vote for Trump as he dropped out of the race, Brianna Keilar fact checking Trump’s statements at the NY Courthouse in his fraud trial closing arguments, and Norm Eisen predicting a dire picture for the Trump Organization. And we close out the show discussing clips of Kristy Greenberg saying Alina Habba’s Courtroom rant was an audition for FOX News and Michael Cohen predicting that the bill is coming from Trump in his fraud trial and he can’t afford it.
