On the show this week we discuss the man killed in Minneapolis by Federal agents identified as VA nurse Alex Pretti, Trump linking his Greenland threat to his perceived Nobel Peace Prize snub, and Trump’s unhinged letter to the Denmark Prime Minister. Next we discuss Dr. Jonathan Reiner’s call for a congressional inquiry into Trump’s presidential fitness, Tom Nichols’ Atlantic article about the military being forced to plan for an unthinkable betrayal, and Trump getting boos at the Indiana-Miami championship game as well as his announcement that he will not attend the Super Bowl. Then we discuss the top Catholic Cardinals who called out the moral questions of U.S. foreign policy, Todd Blanche’s threats and failure to prosecute Don Lemon for reporting about a protest in a church in St. Paul, and Trump inviting Putin and Orban to join his latest grift called the ‘Board of Peace’. Next we discuss Abigail Spanberger’s first move after being sworn in as Virginia’s Governor by revoking an Executive order requiring local police to cooperate with ICE, Lindsey Halligan being forced out as the U.S. Attorney in Virginia, and the Democrats growing support in the House to impeach Kristi Noem. Then we discuss Trump’s insane press conference on Wednesday, Trump threatening at 200% tariff on French wines as Macrone reportedly snubbed his ‘Board of Peace’ seat, and Trump’s envoy being dis-invited to a key event in Greenland. Next we discuss the attempts by survivors and Congressmen to get a Federal Judge to force Trump’s DOJ to release the Epstein files, the impact on the stock market the last week of Trump’s threats about tariffs over Greenland, and the press conference held by Minnesota police chiefs about ICE targeting their off-duty officers. Then we discuss ICE agents violation of the 4th amendment by breaking down doors and entering homes without a Judicial warrant, the Trump administration conceding that the DOGE team may have misused Social Security data, theaters struggling to sell 10 tickets per showing to the new Melania movie, and the U.S. Supreme Court appearing skeptical of Trump’s attempt to fire Lisa Cook from the Fed board. Next we discuss Navy admiral Nancy Lacore who was removed by Hegseth as the chief of the Navy Reserve announcing that she is running for Congress, New York Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Pearlman calling a GOP-held House district unconstitutional and ordering a new map, and Trump’s racist and dementia addled Davos speech then his TACO over his Greenland tariffs. Then we discuss the fired DHS employee suing the agency after he criticized Kristi Noem while on a date with an undercover reporter, Ted Cruz once again being caught cowardly leaving Texas ahead of the snow storm, and a Judge’s ruling that the FBI can not examine devices it took from a Washington Post reporter’s home. Next we discuss an Appeals court temporarily lifting restrictions on ICE’s attacks on protesters in Minnesota, a Judge ruling that lawmakers can sue over the Epstein files release excluding the Maxwell case, and Jack Smith’s testimony saying that Trump willfully broke laws in his bid to overturn the 2020 election. Then we discuss the White House digitally altering the image of a woman arrested after an ICE protest in a church, Department of Interior staff removing a memorial honoring people enslaved by George Washington in Philadelphia and the city’s lawsuit to restore it, and Sen. Amy Klobuchar filing to run for the Governor of Minnesota. Lastly we discuss Trump pulling the U.S. from the World Health Organization, the FBI agent in Minnesota who resigned after being ordered to investigate Renee Good, and a Federal Judge ruling that the administration unlawfully suspended the EV charger infrastructure program that was funded by the Infrastructure Act.

Next we discuss the speculation that Trump’s pardon of the January 6th insurrectionists is so broadly written that it may have accidentally pardoned the DC pipe bomber, the Minnesota Attorney General suing to stop the ICE raids terrorizing the public, and the mass resignation at the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office stemming from the Renee Good shooting. Then we discuss the poll revealing that only 27% of Americans believe the Minneapolis ICE shooting was justified, CBS News falsely reporting that Jonathan Ross was injured and had internal bleeding after he murdered Renee Nicole Good, and that 17,000 – 20,000 people have cancelled their tickets to the World Cup games in the U.S. after Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Nicole Good. Next we discuss DHS and ICE using Nazi slogans and signs, Jack Smith’s upcoming public testimony about the Trump cases. and the Democrats sweeping the special elections in Virginia and Connecticut state House races last Tuesday. Then we discuss Lindsey Halligan’s combative court filing defending her use of the U.S. Attorney title, Trump flipping the bird to a Ford auto worker who shouted “pedophile protector” at him, and that over 50 House Democrats signed onto Kristi Noem’s articles of impeachment. Next we discuss the Trump administration announcing that they are ending legal protections for Somalis making them deportable, Trump’s economic speech where he veered off topic and took aim at Biden and Powell, and Trump saying he wanted banks to cap credit card interest at 10% to the laughter of the banking industry. Then we discuss Trump’s frontal temporal dementia getting worse daily like when he said Biden appointed Jerome Powell forgetting that he nominated him during his first administration, Trump’s failing asleep during his press conference about milk, and Trump’s insane fixation with annexing Greenland. Next we discuss that House Democrats have asked DHS if any Jan. 6 rioters are now working for ICE, the Clinton’s defying to testify privately in the House Committee Epstein investigation saying they will only testify publicly, and the announcement that Elon Musk’s Grok AI is being adopted at the Pentagon. Then we discuss J.D. Vance’s Greenland meeting ending with a fundamental disagreement, a panel of Federal Judges allowing the California Prop 50 maps to stand, and E. Jean Carroll asking the Supreme Court to reject Trump’s request to review her judgements against him for defamation. Next we discuss Trump beating back the GOP Senators who voted to restrict his Venezuela war powers, the Trump administration’s announcement that they are suspending immigrant visa processing for 75 countries, and the FBI agents searching the home of a Washington Post reporter. Then we discuss Maria Machado’s giving Trump her Nobel Peace Prize, a Federal Judge ruling that Trump’s Cabinet Secretaries conspired to violate the Constitution, and Rep. Don Bacon telling a reporter that House Republicans will impeach Trump if he tries to annex Greenland. Next we discuss how Billy Long may have blown up his nomination to be Ambassador to Iceland after he joking said he was going to make Iceland the 52 state, Congress passing a bill to fully fund U.S. science agencies rebuffing Trump’s requested cuts, and that half of the 24 member of the House of Representatives over 80 years old are running for reelection. Lastly we discuss a Federal Judge dismissing DOJ’s lawsuit in California demanding that they turn over the state’s voter rolls, Trump ending rape protections for trans inmates in ICE facilities and U.S. prisons, Brook Rollins being mocked over her ‘one chicken, one broccoli, one corn tortilla’ remarks, Trump saying he will impose tariffs on countries that oppose his goal of acquiring Greenland, and the DOJ investigating Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey over an alleged conspiracy to impede immigration agents.

Then we discuss the brutal murder of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis and the lies from the Trump administration about it, the Hennepin County D.A.’s office saying it has the authority to bring charges against the ICE agent, and that Federal agents shot 2 people in Oregon the next day. Next we discuss the mass shooting of 8 people with 2 killed at a funeral in a Mormon church in Utah, how in less than a week Bari Weiss and Tony Dokoupil have turned the CBS Evening News into a Russian style MAGA propaganda outlet, and that hundreds of Judges have rejected Trump’s mandatory detention policy with no end in sight. Then we discuss House Republicans failure to override Trump’s vetos on 2 bills that passed the House and Senate unanimously, Hegseth’s attempt to downgrade Sen. Mark Kelly’s military rank to reduce his pension, and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announcing he has ended his re-election campaign over a fake manufactured social media video about fraud claims. Next we discuss the shut down of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a new study that showed that the U.S. Supreme Court increasingly favors the rich, and MAGA losing it after a Minneapolis Hampton Inn cancelled the reservations for DHS and ICE employees. Then we discuss Graham Platner raising $5 million dollars despite his scandals, Trump saying that U.S. taxpayers may reimburse oil companies for rebuilding Venezuela’s oil infrastructure, and the Danish PM saying that a U.S. attack on Greenland would mean the end of NATO. Next we discuss the Trump administration’s attempt to halt $10 billion dollars in social services funding to 5 Democratic states, Trump saying Venezuela would give 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the U.S. that will be controlled by him, and Russia sending a military submarine to escort an oil tanker that the U.S. tried to seize off the coast of Venezuela. Then we discuss how the death of GOP Rep. Doug LaMalfa and resignation of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene reduced the GOP narrow control of the House to 218 – 213 with special elections upcoming for 5 vacant seats, the Pentagon announcement that it will begin reviewing the effectiveness of women in ground combat positions, and the MAGA granny Pamela Hemphill making an emotional apology to the January 6th officers at a hearing. Next we discuss Stephen Miller’s insane interview with Jake Tapper, Lindsey Graham looking and sounding like he’s starting to have geriatric issues like Trump, and the state of Utah staring to use A.I. to prescribe medications. Then we discuss George Santos’ claim that he’s going to Venezuela to aid oppressed people, Megan Kelly turning on Trump over Venezuela and saying FOX News sounds like Russian propaganda in their coverage, and Trump’s call to double the Department of Defense budget to $1.5 trillion dollars. Next we discuss Rep. Steny Hoyer’s announcement that the is retiring from Congress, Dr. Oz warning Americans not to drink alcohol for breakfast, the House passing a 3-year extension of the ACA subsidies, and the Senate voting to restrict Trump from taking any further military actions in Venezuela. Lastly we discuss the Trump picked prosecutor John Sarcone being disqualified as Acting Attorney General in New York by a Federal Judge, Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna asking a Judge for a Special Master on the Epstein files, the Senate vote to display the Jan. 6th plaque after Speaker Johnson refused to, Gov. Josh Shapiro announcing his bid for re-election in Pennsylvania, and The Washington National Opera board voting to leave the Kennedy Center after Trump put his name on the building.

Then we discuss the 60 Minutes CECOT segment that was pulled from US CBS stations but aired in Canada and went viral online, the Supreme Court’s order rejecting Trump’s National Guard deployment in Illinois, and Trump withdrawing the National Guard from all cities except Washington, DC after the ruling. Next we discuss the Trump hosted Kennedy Center Awards earning the lowest ratings in history, several artists cancelling performances including a six week run of ‘Hamilton’ after Trump put his name on the building, and Trump’s useless meeting with Ukraine President Zelenskyy. Then we discuss Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saying she was naive for believing Trump was a man of the people as well as that he told her his friends would get hurt if the Epstein files are released, China staging military drills around Taiwan to warn external forces after US and Japan tensions, and Trump’s Christmas Day attacks on Nigeria. Next we discuss Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu and the Pentagon announcing an 8.6 billion dollar Boeing contract for F-15 jets for Israel right afterwards, Trump telling his fans to donate to him or else Democrats will steal their money, and Trump’s dementia getting noticeably worse with unhinged posts over the Holidays. Then we discuss the Federal Reserve renewing all nine banking board members for 5-year terms before Powell’s term ends in March, Elon Musk may face charges in France for election interference, and Musk’s melt down over Zohran Mamdani’s choice to lead the Fire Department in NYC. Next we discuss a Federal Judge ordering the Trump administration to seeking funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Board, the USPS change in how mail is postmarked and it’s possible impact on mail-in ballots, and the Federal Judge’s unsealed court order suggesting Trump officials pushed to prosecute Kilmar Abrego Garcia after he was wrongfully deported. Then we discuss the U.S. removal of cemetery panels honoring Black World War II soldiers spurring anger in the Netherlands, how top officials at the Heritage Foundation are fleeing to Mike Pence’s nonprofit as the think tank fractures, HHS freezing all childcare payments to Minnesota after false fraud allegations video by Nick Shirley went viral on social media, and House Republicans releasing the transcript and video of Jack Smith’s closed-door testimony on New Year’s eve to try and bury it in the news cycle. Lastly we discuss Democrat Renee Hardman winning the Iowa Senate special election holding off a GOP supermajority, Zohran Mamdani being sworn in as NYC Major, Trump vetoing a bipartisan Colorado clean water bill that unanimously passed the House and Senate as retribution for Lauren Boebert signing the discharge petition to force the vote to release the Epstein files, and Trump’s 150 Truth Social posts in one night as his sundowning continues to get worse.
