On this week’s show we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the discussion about the Sunday Talkers featuring John Boehner stating that he absolutely trusts President Obama and agrees there there is no immediate debt problem in the US as well as how David Gregory immediately changed the topic on Meet the Press when Kathleen Kennedy Townsend made a valid point about federal spending and the economy. Then we discuss President Obama’s message to OFA members, Vice President Biden’s trip to the Installation Mass for Pope Francis and President Obama being heckled during a speech in Israel. Then after another hilarious commercial from our great friends at BubbleGenius.com, Jim Hightower fills us in on how Paul Ryan is stuck in the same old rabbit hole by introducing his budget from last year for a vote in the House again after it was soundly rejected by the Senate and the American People in the 2012 Election. And then we discuss the hilarious news clip of Rep. Michele Bachmann running from a reporter who was asking her questions about the “un-truths” she said about the President in her CPAC speech. Then we close out the show with a discussion about Hillary Clinton’s recent video stating her support for Gay Marriage as well as a crazy story about a racist rant that was printed in a Charleston, WV newspaper and the local public’s reaction to it.

On the show this weekend, we start out with introductions and a discussion with Jeff Wilfahrt about his campaign for the district seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives and the “All A Tweetie” segment. Then we get right into the 2012 Election Update segment discussing David Gregory’s opening on Meet the Press calling Joe Biden’s performance at the VP debate “over the top” and Chris Wallace calling Ed Gillespie on the carpet about the GOP talking point on the 6 studies, which turn out to be blog posts and partisan think tank organization “studies”, that supposedly validate Mitt Romney’s tax plan. Then we discuss our thoughts on the second presidential debate including the topics of the Libyan attacks and Mitt’s “binders of women” comment. And then after a Halloween commercial from our great sponsors over at BubbleGenius.com, we continue the discussion about the debate on the topics of energy production, Romney’s vs. Bush’s economic policies, the candidates “pensions” and the 47%.

And then we kick off the 2012 Election Update segment starting with GOP Senate Nominee Todd Akin’s “Legitimate Rape” statement and how it dominated the press all of last week. And then we move on to Paul Ryan’s statement about his foreign policy credentials being that he voted to send people to war and his hypocrisy from a 2002 video touting why stimulus funding were needed for the economy and jobs, but now he’s flip flopped on the issue. Then we discuss President Obama calling out Mitt Romney in a press conference about his campaign of running on lies. And after a hilarious message from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss President Obama’s comments on the Todd Akin “Legitimate Rape” scandal as well as telling the audience at a campaign rally not to boo when he mentioning the GOP, but to vote. Then we discuss how bad things must have gotten for Mitt Romney that he stoked the debunked birther issue with a “joke” at a campaign rally as well as the Obama campaign video featuring Republican women who are fed up with the GOP war on women and are voting for Obama. Then we close out the show with the Dave’s Legal Corner segment featuring Justice Scalia on Fox News suggesting that hand held rocket launchers might be protected under the Second Amendment and Dave’s take on that considering Justice Scalia’s opinions on past rulings.

Then we move right into the “All A Tweetie” segment and the 2012 Election Update segment starting with Paul Ryan being heckled in Iowa and Virginia. Then we discuss Paul Ryan’s speech where he blamed President Obama for the closing of a GM plant in 2009 which actually closed in 2008 when President Bush was in office and Ryan with Mitt Romney on 60 Minutes where he said they plan to take away the tax shelters that people like Mitt Romney enjoy. And after a message from our fantastic friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the Joe Biden speech calling out Romney and Ryan on their policies and Mitt Romney being a cry baby about attacks from the Obama Campaign. And then we discuss Ann Romney once again refusing to release any more tax returns, Mitt’s proud statement that he never paid less than 13% percent in taxes and his white board lie about the ACA savings to medicare spending. And then we close out the show with a discussion about the hilarious clip where Soledad O’Brien argued with John Sununu about the ACA savings to medicare and called him out for repeating right wing talking points and name calling.

This weekend we had the Gay Podcaster Ho-Down Meet and Greet and it was really a hoot! Miss Wes flew back from her Hawaiian cruise, Walt trekked down from the New Yorks, Miss Starr Jones made an appearance. And we were so happy that Larry Klye could get off his ass and actually show up. But of course, Big Fatty couldn’t make it because he was busy with one of his Horrah events. Go figure. Wish you could have joined us!!!
