Episode 252 – It’s a Tea Party

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 252 – June 9, 2013

Episode 252 Show Art - Tea Kettle

On episode 252 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter) and Francie (@Francie57 on Twitter).

On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion with the GOP Talking Point Sunday Morning Shows where Darrell Issa called the White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, a “paid liar”, Jay Carney’s response at a White House press briefing and what Joe Scarborough thought about it.  Then we discuss President Obama’s statements on the story about Verizon giving phone records to the government and our thoughts about it as well as Rep. Louie Gohmert’s speech on the House floor where he mixed up the 1st and 2nd amendments to the Constitution with Rocky Mountain Mike (@RockyMountainMike on Twitter) sharing a great Gohmert parody song. Then after a fabulous commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the loss of Senator Frank Lautenberg and the controversy over New Jersey Governor Chris Christie scheduling a special election 3 weeks before the November 2013 state wide elections to fill the vacancy in the US Senate.  Then we discuss the Tea Party conference where Ken Emanuelson admitted that the Republican Party doesn’t want black people to vote if they vote 9 to 1 for Democrats and Cathie Adams presented on another crack pot conspiracy theory that Grover Norquist is a secret Muslim.  Then we discuss how John Fugelsang’s panel on Current TV’s Viewpoint called out FOX concerning the report that showed an increasing number of women are being the breadwinners in the family.  And then we close out the show with another Foxisim of the Week!
