Episode 249 – Seriously?

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 249 – May 19, 2013

Episode 249 Show Art - Worse than Watergate? Seriously?

On episode 249 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@marnus3 on Twitter), Sarah (@S_Cosgrove on Twitter) and Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt, who’s son, Corporal Andrew C. Wilfahrt, was a gay member of the military who was killed in Afghanistan in 2011 and have been working on the Marriage Equality fight in the State of Minnesota.

On this week’s show we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion with President Obama speaking out about the GOP Benghazi witch hunt at a press conference and Dianne Feinstein pointing out that the latest Benghazi hearing was really about discrediting Hillary Clinton for fear of the 2016 Elections.  Then we discuss a clip where former Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, gives his thoughts on the GOP Benghazi hearings and stating that he would have made the same decisions.  And next we discuss a clip where CBS Evening News explained the collapse of the supposed scandal by highlighting the GOP modifications to the White House emails that were leaked to the press and then Jim Hightower fills us in on some world-class nincompoopism by politicians on the right. Then after another great commercial from our good buddies over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the IRS scandal that set everyone’s hair on fire last week and Attorney General Eric Holder calling out Rep. Darryl Issa’s conduct in a hearing calling it “shameful”. Then we close out the show discussing the fantastic passage of Gay Marriage in the Minnesota Legislature this week and Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt share their experiences being at the State Capitol for the votes and the Governor signing the Bill into law.
