The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 257 – July 21, 2013
On episode 257 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter), Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam and LibertyBelleJ (@LibertyBelleJ on Twitter) from the Personally Political Blog (http://www.personallypolitical.com/).
On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion with the President’s weekly address about strengthening our economy by passing bipartisan immigration reform. Then we discuss Elizabeth Warren taking on the hosts at CNBC about the restoration of banking legislation to prevent another banking crash as well as Pennsylvania’s GOP Chairman admitting that the state’s Voter ID law was to suppress votes for President Obama and the racist comment by Rep. Darrell Issa comparing his committee ranking member, Elijah Cummings, to a “little boy”. Then after another hilarious commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the Zimmerman trial aftermath including Rick Perry’s comment about our justice system being color blind and Trayvon Martin’s mother’s comments about the trial. Then we close out the show discuss the crazy right wing reactions to the protests after the trial including Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.
