And after another hilarious commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss Jake Tapper’s comments on CNN as well as Chris Matthews’ panel featuring Lizz Winstead about the government shut down.  Then we discuss Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s statements on the US Senate floor about the impact of breaching the debt ceiling and Sen. Ted Cruz speaking at the Value Voters Summit about how shutting down the government and threatening to not raise the debt ceiling is the Tea Party’s model to implement their agenda over the next 2 years.  Then we close out the show discussing Michele Bachmann’s statements on a right wing radio show about attempting to impeach President Obama, featuring another hilarious parody by Rocky Mountain Mike (@RockyMntnMike on Twitter), and Bill O’Reilly on FOX News stating that Sec. of Defense, Chuck Hagel, should resign from office because the Department of Defense couldn’t pay the death benefits to families of fallen US Soldiers due to the lack of funding caused by the government shut down.
