Episode 236 – Gun Chat

The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 236 – January 13, 2013

On episode 236 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@marnus3 on Twitter), John Sheirer (@RealAmericanLib on Twitter) who’s the author of the book “Tales of a Real American Liberal” and Paula (@BubbleGenius on Twitter) and Sarah from BubbleGenius.com.

On the show the weekend, we play a voice mail from a listener and laugh about the “Hard Of Hearing Vader” clip on YouTube.  Then after the “All A Tweetie” segment, we discuss John McCain and Lindsey Graham threatening a pretty big showdown in the upcoming debt ceiling negotiations and Mitch McConnell speaking on the same topic and preaching about America’s “spending addiction”.  Then Jim Hightower shares some things that were tucked deep inside the “Taxpayer Relief Act” and then we discuss the Morning Joe hosts arguing about the “lack of women in the Obama Administration”.  And after a hilarious commercial from our great friends and guests this week from BubbleGenius.com, we move onto a discussion about the media debate this week over the gun control discussions being led by Vice President Joe Biden starting with David Gregory holding up a 30-round magazine on Meet the Press and the reaction of the Justice Department since it’s illegal to have them in Washington, DC where the show is taped.  Then we discuss the unbelievable Alex Jones interview on Piers Morgan as well as a Utah teacher that was interviewed by Ed Shultz about teachers carrying concealed guns in classrooms and an incredible ad for Mayors Against Illegal Guns that features Roxanna Green, who’s 9 year old daughter was killed in a Tucson shooting.  Then we close out the show discussing a gun activist featured on CNN who said that if Blacks had guns, they wouldn’t have been slaves.
