On episode 235 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@marnus3 on Twitter), Heidi (@MommaPolitico on Twitter) from the “Momma Politico Blog” and Dee (@DAbitty on Twitter) from the “My Little Bits” blog.

On the show the weekend, we start out the first show of 2013 with introductions and our Holiday stories.  Then after the “All A Tweetie” segment, we discuss the horrific shooting in Newtown, CT and our thoughts on the gun control discussions that dominated the media over the Holiday Season.  Then we dive off the “Fiscal Cliff” discussing Lindsey Graham’s comments about cutting Social Security, Rep. Raul Labrador slamming Democrats over the negotiations and David Brooks’ statement that President Obama has governed like a visitor from a morally superior civilization.  And after a hilarious commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we continue the discussion with President Obama’s speech about the “Fiscal Cliff” agreement.  Then we discuss New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s comments on New Years Day calling out  Speaker Boehner and the GOP House Majority for not bringing the Hurricane Sandy relief bill to a vote.  And then we close out the show discussing Rep. Adam Schiff’s speech urging the House to oppose legal defense of DOMA and to take up campaign finance reform as well as Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio sending armed posses to protect schools.
