The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 253 – June 16, 2013

On episode 253 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@marnus3 on Twitter), Lori (@lipdesign on Twitter) and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.
On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion with Cory Booker’s announcement that he’s running in the special election in New Jersey to US Senate and the GOP Talking Point Sunday Morning Shows where Mary Matalin dismisses Susan Rice as “a presidential pet”. Then we discuss Rand Paul asking Fox viewers to join a class action lawsuit against the NSA, which we think is so that he can increase his campaign donor list. Then after a fabulous commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the Edward Snowden leak situation and New York Rep. Peter King ridiculously calling for the prosecution of Glenn Greenwald for being a reporter and breaking the story. Then we discuss a Morning Joe clip where he calls out the NRA for doctoring a photo of President Obama to make him look more black in an attack ad, Robert Redford’s ad calling on the President to lead on climate change legislation and Jeb Bush’s statement at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference where he said that “immigrants are more fertile”. And we close out the show on the topic of Gay Marriage discussing Marco Rubio saying “I’m Gone. I’m off it” regarding his Immigration bill in the US Senate if a same-sex marriage provisions is included in the bill, Pat Robertson’s latest ridiculous comment about the LGBT community, President Obama’s speech at the White House LGBT Pride Month Reception and our anticipation about the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on Prop 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act.
