The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 263 – September 1, 2013
On episode 263 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter), Paddy (@PaddyK on Twitter) from “The Political Carnival” Blog and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.
On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion about the President’s speech on seeking Congressional approval prior to a military response to the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Then we discuss our thoughts on the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington speeches. And after another hilarious commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, Joe gives us a clown car update and we discuss Pat Roberson’s deranged ramblings about gay men in San Francisco with rings that transmit the HIV virus as well as Howard Dean ripping Ted Cruz featuring another hilarious parody from our great friend Rocky Mountain Mike (@RockyMntnMike on Twitter). Then we discuss a Morning Joe clip where Joe calls out the GOP over a government shutdown and Bryan Fischer’s offensive statement about Hillary Clinton. And then we move on to the topic of discrimination discussing a news clip about a Tennessee church that ousted a family for supporting their lesbian daughter and a South Carolina restaurant the refused service to a black family. And we close out the show with a hilarious ad from Climatenamechange.org about naming upcoming hurricanes after politicians who deny climate change science.
