The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 256 – July 14, 2013
On episode 256 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter), Allie McNeil (@watergatesummer on Twitter) from the Watergate Summer Blog and host of The 99 Report Radio Show and Steve Moore (@veracitystew on Twitter) from the Veracity Stew Blog and his Publication Company, Veracity Press.
On the show this week we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment, then we begin the political discussion with the GOP Talking Point Sunday Morning Shows where Texas Senator Wendy Davis was interviewed on Meet the Press and then we discuss Rick Perry on his comments about Wendy Miller on Fox News Sunday. Then we discuss the Texas State Senate hearing where @Victorianprude called out the GOP Legislators in her testimony, Thomas Roberts’ comments on Morning Joe about the Texas GOP being fixated over the sanctity of sperm, and then Jim Hightower gives us a history lesson about all of this in Texas politics. Then after another fabulous commercial from our great friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we discuss the controversy in a North Carolina town about a “White History Month” parade sign in the town’s 4th of July parade and then we move on to the topic of Gay Marriage discussing how Rachel Maddow slam dunked Ralph Reed and Jim DeMint’s arguments about the Supreme Court rulings on DOMA and Prop 8 on Meet the Press. Then we discuss the testimony of former Minnesota House Member, Lynne Osterman, in a hearing about how she regretted her vote on DOMA and we close out the show with Pat Robertson’s comments about wishing he had a “vomit” button on the “Facebooks” for pictures of gay couples.
