On the show this weekend, we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment and then Joe Baur of the Mildly Relevant News Video Blog fills us in on the Ron Paul Fest and Birther-ish Romney. We then kick off the 2012 Election Update segment of the show by discussing how the Sunday Talkers repeat Romney’s line about President Obama not understanding how the economy works, the Donald Trump clown show this week, Pete Hoekstra saying that the FBI and CIA should vet Presidential candidates and Romney calling for a constitutional amendment requiring candidates for President to have 3 years of business experience. And after a message from our good friends over at BubbleGenius.com, Robert Reich gives us a lesson on how private equity forms work and Louie Ludwig shares his thoughts on the issue as well. Then Jim Hightower informs us about cleaning up the stench of lobbyists and we discuss Democratic candidate Eric Griegio‘s thoughts on the Affordable Care Act and GOP Rep Cliff Stearns being grilled by Chris Matthews on his position on criminal charges for women who receive abortions.
