On episode 208 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table by Joseph (@Marnus3 on Twitter), Heidi (@MommaPolitico on Twitter) from the “Momma Politico Blog” and Allie McNeil (@watergatesummer on Twitter) from the “Watergate Summer” Blog, host of The 99 Report Radio Show, as well as the author of the books, “Watergate Summer” and “Silent Fallout” which are currently available at Amazon.com.
On the show this weekend, we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment. Then Joe Baur of the Mildly Relevant News Video Blog shares the latest news about Romney getting no love from Ohio Governor Kasich. Then we move on to the GOP Clown Car update where we discuss Ann Romney’s comment that Mitt is a wild and crazy man inside, Mitt Romney’s comment that it’s OK for gays to adopt children but not marry and Shepard Smith calling out Mitt for being on the wrong side of history on this issue. We then discuss the video bombshell that was recently released where Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker tells a big donor that he was planning to use divide and conquer as a strategy against unions and Paul Ryan’s comment that we shouldn’t close corporate tax loopholes to prevent a hike in student loan interest rates. Then after a message from our good friends over at BubbleGenius.com, we then discuss the media freakout that started with Joe Biden saying he support’s marriage equality that led to the President stating that he has evolved on the issue and supports marriage equality as well and Mitt Romney immediately stating his opposition on the issue. And we close out the show with a reminder of how the anti-marriage equality organizations used education to scare people into voting for Proposition 8 in California in 2008 and the Foxisms of the Week segment.
