The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 169 – May 30, 2011

On episode 169 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined by Dave (@D_v_E on Twitter) from “The Corner Tavern” Blog and the “Refudiate This, Sarah” Blog and our guests this week for Memorial Day are Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt, who’s son, Corporal Andrew C. Wilfahrt, was recently and unfortunately killed in Afghanistan. Jeff shared a new site for the remembrance of their Son at http://www.andrewswall.org/
On today’s show, we start out with introductions and the “All A Tweetie” segment. Then we talk about the awesome work that Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt are doing in Minnesota and nationally on the issues of Gay Rights and Gay Marriage. Jeff recently testified at both the Minnesota House and Senate hearings regarding the proposed constitutional amendment banning Gay Marriage in that state and then we discuss them both being featured on The Rachel Maddow Show. After a message from our good friends at BubbleGenius.com, we then talk about Michele Bachmann and her ridiculous belief that the Legislative Branch has the right to limit the issues that the Judicial Branch can rule on and Dave gives us an excellent explanation quoting the Constitution and explains why she wrong. We also discuss Sarah Palin invading the “Rolling Thunder” Veterans event in DC this weekend trying to pretend that she was invited and attempting to steal their “Thunder”. And finally, we close out the show with the “Foxisms of the Week” segment.
