Episode 26 – Memorial Day in NYC Show

There Are Some Who Call Me Tim
Episode 26 – May 28, 2007

What a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend in NYC.  Ron and I had a blast.  This show is a mash up of recordings from the weekend.  It was Fleet Week in NYC with lots of pretty Navy and Marine boys wandering the streets of the city in uniform.  And we had a lot of fun hanging with Chef Mark and Mikeypod.

Podcasts mentioned on the show:
Remarkable Palate
Remarkably Mark
Food Philosophy
Mikeypod
Archer Radio
Ramble Redhead

Restaurants in NYC mentioned on the show:
Chez Josephine
Pasta Presto
Trattoria Ciro

Pictures:
Mark, Tim and Michael

And here are the pics of the kitchen in our hotel room.  The hotel said they would shop for us so we could cook for ourselves in our room if we wanted to.  And they provided the pots, pans and cooking utensils.  But no stove.  What was up with that?

And on top of it, the bottled water in the room was $7.  Like I’m going to cook for for us while we are on vacation.  As Davey from Pop Trash Radio would say, “unh uh”.

Episode 21 – How I Podcast #2 (Video)

Video Podcast #2 in my series called How I Podcast. This weeks topic is Podcasting on the Go.  I shot this video at Gravely Point Park which is near the end of the main runway at National Airport in Northern Virginia, across the river from Washington, DC.

Warning: don’t turn the audio up too loud on your headphones as the sound of the planes talking off overhead is VERY LOUD! Consider yourself warned and enjoy.
